Chapter Receives Champion for Children Award

Florida Pioneers and AT&T were awarded the Champions for Children Award from ChildNet, Inc. This marked the first time ChildNet ever presented the award to an organization and not an individual. The Pioneers have supported the organization through mentoring students using the company’s Aspire Skills to Go classes, presenting graduating foster kids with computers and providing other support. AT&T has also supported the organization through its AT&T Aspire program. It recently awarded ChildNet a $500,000 contribution to support its the programs students. cx
